In 1992, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Tashkent chapter of his life ended. The family moved from Tashkent to Stepanovka, a village in the Perevolotsky district of the Orenburg region.
Programming classes were no longer available there. He became interested in astronomy, biology and machinery, including wheeled and tracked tractors.
The pupils studied machinery in school lessons: agricultural machinery classes introduced them to tractor construction and taught them how to carry out repairs.
After finishing school, he moved to the neighboring village of Kubanka.
At the same time, he learned the trades of electrician, plumber, builder and carpenter.
Village life also taught him to grow crops and care for livestock. He had to master a range of tasks and understand how agriculture worked. He lived in Kubanka until 2000.
There he obtained a computer and began refreshing and improving his programming skills.
