The 860th Regiment

Tokhir Tukhtarov and his team began filming The 860th Regiment, a film about Afghanistan. They spent almost a month on set, shooting the opening scenes and preparing a making-of film. They plan to complete the picture. For Tokhir, the project is important as a way to preserve historical memory and pass it on to younger generations.
